The Pikeville City Commission is pleased to announce that, after several months of working with the Breaks Park Commission, the City of Pikeville will be partnering with The Breaks Interstate Park on a regional tourism initiative that will allow park visitors the opportunity to visit attractions in Pikeville and the surrounding area via a shuttle service operated by the City of Pikeville and the Breaks Park. In addition, the Pikeville City Commission has negotiated with KY based Canoe Kentucky to operate the Pikeville river trail system. This is a huge win for Pikeville and the region and represents true Tourism commerce and diversification, bringing the 300,000 annual visitors of the Breaks park and a professional river guide company to Pikeville and the region.
