The Police - Secret Journey demo version 1 (rare audio) Today, January 27th, in 1982, the Police bring their Ghost In The Machine tour to Atlantas Omni. What a difference a year makes for this band as when they played the Fox in late 1980 I had to explain to some folks who the band were. In 1982, it was the show a lot of folks wanted to attend, with the added bonus of opening act the Go-Gos. Rumors ran rampant the day of the show at Peachtree High School that the Go-Gos had cancelled because Belinda had oded but this was obviously not true. For those with a PHS Beacon for 1982, the seniors and their jobs picture of me was taken the day after this show as I am wearing my Police tour shirt which I think I still have....
