The Politicians are running the country as if its owned by them... As if they are the rulers and we their slaves... 2 big things happened last day ... 1). The Political Parties have stood against the Election Commission (EC) which had said that no party will be allowed to offer free gifts/freebies to people in their party manifestos during election. I would say that this is really good as votes will become influential is free gifts are given. Its just like bribing a person to vote him for you. The person wins not because he is good in what he is supposed to do, bt because he is using money and winning the seat... Tell me one thing ... why does a MLA/MP spend so much money (in crores) to win a election.. not because he wants to serve the people so badly isnt it !!! I guess all of us know that the more he spends the 10 times more will he make out of it if he wins... he will give us a freebie but after winning the election will ultimately make us pay 10 times more of the laptop price. Scams happening are the reason why the prices of almost everything is going up... everyone is busy filling their pockets as no one never knows when they will be caught. 2) RTI act which is a very useful tool was modified by the politicians inorder to keep themselves safe. Now no one ask any party as to from where did they get the funds and where did they spend it. I agree a political party is not a govt. body so they might not be held accountable for coming under RTI. But they deal with crores of rupees and thus they should atleast have a Balance sheet statement published in their website and also a audit by some international agency must be done for all the party accounts.
