The Port of Virginia is experiencing a significant influx of rail - TopicsExpress

The Port of Virginia is experiencing a significant influx of rail cargo at Norfolk International Terminals (NIT) and APM Terminals in Portsmouth (APMT) as the result of peak season volumes and a spike in rail diversions as a result of congestion in other ports. Daily rail surges are pushing rail capacity and creating operational delays. Please note delays can occur when shipping your containers via Norfolk.
