The Power of Culture/Tradition in Liberian Politics: Commending - TopicsExpress

The Power of Culture/Tradition in Liberian Politics: Commending Senator Chief Jewel Howel-Taylor, for her re-election! We hail all Liberians for democratically exercising their franchise by going to the pools on Saturday, December 20, 2014. One of the key things that played on the minds of most indigenous people in Bong County was the dress code of Sen. Taylor which displays a reach traditional/cultural value of the people in Bong. They symbol of what the indigenous believed in as shown on her in this photos, coupled with the consistent interactions with the people of Bong county in their villages and towns eventually landed her into the pool of victory! Yes, a child who washes his/her hands clean in the village/town normally eats with the elders! Am sure several children of Bong county were called by the elders to eat but after a careful evaluation/observation of the washing hands process, the elders of Bong realized that the hands of the other children were very dirty except for Sen. Taylor whose hands were cleaned! To you the Representatives, if your hands are dirty now, start to clean them now or be victimized tomorrow! Am convinced that the people of Bong were realized that their only daughter in the senatorial race, Sen. Taylor showed no disrespect to them and their tradition and thats why her flowers were given in the midst of giant-sized men. The question is, how can you whip a Chief in the middle of the Town??? This can never happen in our culture and am sure that is why it was very impossible for Chief Nyae Suakoko Jewel Howard Taylor to have been beaten. Brava Madam Taylor for your re-election. You have proven to be a political giant and a change maker. We also want to commend the defeated candidates for calling and expressing their commendations to Chief Jewel Howard-Taylor for her victory. Mr. Samuel Doe Jr. also appeared on the local radio station in Zedrew and commended Mr. Marshall Dennis of Grand Gedeh for been the winner of the 2014 senatorial election in that county. This is high class political maturity and we want to see more of this from other candidates.
