The Power of Music: Keerthana Pathmanathan at Speak Tamileelam Toronto Looking up to the national leader of Tamileelam Hon. Velupillai Pirapaharan as her guide, she strongly believes that the arts should be used to enrich, protect and preserve Tamil identity, culture, heritage and advance the freedom struggle of the Tamil people. Beginning her musical journey at the age of 4, her father played an important and influential role in helping grow her interest in the vocal arts. Currently pursuing her Bachelors of Science in Psychology at the University of Toronto and Bachelors of Arts & Music at Anamalai University - Toronto, Keerthana has performed for and received high acclaim from world renowned musicians from throughout her musical career. Speak Tamileelam is a conference where youth showcase their talents, ideas, experiences and personal stories in which they have contributing to free Tamileelam.
