The Premier LATE LATE SHOW Comes to Tipperary on 28th Sept 2013… Friends of the Simon Ryan Theatre are delighted to be bringing the Premier LATE LATE Show to the Tipperary Excel Arts Centre, Tipperary Town, Co. Tipperary. Taking the same format as RTE’s Late Late Show, this fund raising event will be hosted by Tipp FM’s well known programme director and respected broadcaster - Fran Curry. Some of County Tipperary’s most respected and influential “sons and daughters” are being invited to partake in the evening. Tipp FM, our media partner will be involved in all aspects of the evening. We are also delighted to have secured Crona Byrne, daughter of the Late Late Show’s Gay Byrne as our floor manager for the evening. We are looking forward to working with Pat Marnane, a Tipp native who is currently staging a very successful series of musical shows at the Simon Ryan Theatre, Tipperary Excel. Pat has very kindly offered to oversee the musical programme for the evening. Friends of the Simon Ryan Theatre chose a very fitting venue to launch the Premier LATE LATE Show, that of The Village at Lyons, Celbridge Co. Kildare, one of the last projects completed by the late Dr Tony Ryan, himself one of Tipperary’s most successful and influential sons.
