The President gets blamed for spying on the press, the IRS going - TopicsExpress

The President gets blamed for spying on the press, the IRS going off the reservation, and indiscriminate drone attacks. Isn’t it funny that when anyone in the press is challenged, their entire industry closes ranks and all of a sudden nothing Obama does is OK. I heard on a Huffington Post report that Obama is becoming a dictator; Huffington Post? Go figure. A news media published state secrets that an airline bombing in a foreign country was foiled. The information blew the cover of a double agent, putting that person, their family and friends lives in danger. When the government investigates how they came by the information, the news industry goes bonkers. Never mind that reporting this story not only endangered the lives of operatives, it could and probably did cause a serious disruption in intelligence gathering. What’s more important; gather information that can save American lives or a news story that maybe few of those same Americans will read? The IRS on its own accord scrutinizes the application of political organizations who apply for tax exempt status and all hell breaks loose. Never mind that when the law as it stands is examined, it is doubtful that if the requirements were strictly enforced few if any of the organizations holding the tax exempt status would qualify. The reports of drone attacks are criticized as being barbaric and immoral. Is it better to be over couscous thereby increasing the danger to Americans? The one issue that I find extremely laughable is the killing of an enemy because he was an American. That individual was linked to the shoe bomber and the soldier that went on a killing spree at Fort Hood, killing and wounding dozens of other soldiers. The news media suggest that because that individual was an American he should be exempt from being killed? Between the news media’s demand that they be treated as a sacred cow, the Republicans made-up scandals, the Democrats whine that the Republicans won’t let them do anything, the mess left to him by GW, and all the other issues lay at his feet as if he personally is supervising each and every facet of each and every government agency, I can’t help but wonder why he still wants to be President. I for one thank God that he does.
