The Presidential Candidates debate organised by PAC for Tuesday offers an opportunity to the nation to understand even more about what these guys are prepared to offer if elected. However, I have an observation to make. We have read in the papers, seen big banners within Lilongwe informing about this. The Weekend Papers have carried a frong page headline that the State President will not attend. My question is, did PAC confirm with her before running the adverts? Oftentimes we see organisations like this taking things for granted. I would think prior arrangement with the participants is needed considering this is campaign period and we have limited time. I would want to think the State President has done the wrong thing if she wasnt consulted in time.
