The Price of Cement in Nigeria I must commend Mr President for his developmental strides which have seen the bag of cement to fall to as low as #1500. I bought a bag of Dangote 4.2R abi na 3X them dey call am for as low as #1450 today in Obiaruku. With the reduction in the price of cement, Everybody will agree with me that the cost of building a house in Nigeria will reduce. Cement is the major aspect and cost of building a house. The fall in the price of cement is as a result of the backward integration policy of the cement industry by the FG. The backward integration policy of the FG for the cement industry have turned Nigeria into a net exporter of cement. Also there is a strong competition in the cement industry in Nigeria which many people believe will lead to further decline in the price of cement from next year. The FG have also initiated the same policies for the sugar and auto industries respectively. I have always said and maintained that President Goodluck Jonathan means well for every Nigerian. Nigeria is now a Car manufacturing country courtesy of the FG auto policy. It will only be a matter of time before Nigeria becomes a car exporting country. Inspite of the many challenges the President is facing, he is still delivering on his promise of affecting an average Nigerian positively. I still believe that Goodluck Jonathan is the best president Nigeria have ever had.
