The Prodigal has returned!! She was quiet and limping a bit, but purring and happy. As am I. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. I know many dont understand why I even let her outside, but normally, she roams in the front yard and side barn - so happy to do a little exploring and then come back inside. She was born outside - a rescue cat and it simply seemed right to let her have that freedom. Now I guess I need to rethink that. Sigh. My cats have always had that option and most have lived long and happy lives....
