The Promise od God But “wait for the promise of the Father” - TopicsExpress

The Promise od God But “wait for the promise of the Father” (Acts-1:4). How do we get this promise? It is shown in Acts-2:38, as being after baptism. Jesus Christ after baptism, and before being led into the wilderness was full of the Holy Ghost (Luke-4:1). The original apostles received the promise in the upper room on the day of Pentecost (Acts-2:1-4). All others, received the Holy Ghost after baptism, by the laying on of hands (Acts-8:18). When they heard this they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus [which is Jesus Christ]. And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came upon them (Acts-19:5-6). That is still the way of the promise (Acts-2:38-39). If you want this power; you too must follow the steps of death penalty deliverance, Hear (Romans-10:17), Believe (John-3:18), Repent (Matthew-4:17), Receive remission [baptism {Luke-24:47 and Acts-2:38}], When finished with these steps of death penalty deliverance, your husbandman must lay hands on you and pray for you to receive the promise of the Father [the Holy Ghost (“Spirit of Christ)] (Romans-8:9 and 1st Peter-1:11), then live in the spirit. Then you must Live like Christ (1st Peter-2:21), always live in the spirit.
