The Prophecies of His comings Contrasted The prophecies of the coming of Jesus Christ are well documented in the Old Testament, given long before He was born. Here are a few specific prophecies about the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ and the relevant passages. Seven hundred years before He was born, the city of his birth was foretold by the prophet Micah, although this city is not the city where his parents lived (Mic. 5:2). Thousand years before it occurred, David predicted accurately the death of Christ, despite being a method of execution then not known (Ps. 22:16). His virgin birth was foretold seven hundred years before it occurred (Isa. 7:14). More than five hundred years before His birth, the amount of money which He was betrayed, was predicted to be thirty pieces of silver (Zechariah 11:3). A thousand years before his death, it was predicted that men would gamble for his clothes (Ps. 22:18). A thousand years before, it was foretold that his legs were not broken, like the legs of all the others who were executed by crucifixion (Psalm 34:20). Seven hundred years before His birth, the Old Testament foretold the death of Jesus in the place of sinners (Isa. 53:3-6). These are just seven of the hundreds of Old Testament predictions were literally fulfilled by the Lord Jesus Christ, prophecies that were given centuries in advance. Now search for a prediction of the coming of Muhammad. You will not find a single one. Look in the Koran and look elsewhere, but you will not find any foretelling the coming of Muhammad. He appeared without warning and without any prophecy.
