The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: No good deeds done on other days are superior to those done on the first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah (the month of Hajj). And when his Companions asked, O Messenger of Allah, not even jihad in the way of Allah? Prophet Muhammad replied, Not even jihad, except for the man who puts his life and wealth in danger returns with neither of them. (Sahih Al-Bukhari, 969) So brothers let us be intensely involved in the remembrance of Allah: 1. Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, la ilaha ill Allah; wa Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar wa lillahil Hamd. Meaning: Allah is The Greatest, Allah is The Greatest, there is no god but Allah; and Allah is The Greatest, Allah is The Greatest, and only for Allah is all the Praise. 2. Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar kabeera; walHamdulillahi Katheera; wa subHanAllahi bukratan wa aSeela. Meaning: Allah is The Greatest, Allah is The Greatest, there is no god but Allah; and Allah is The Greatest, Allah is The Greatest, and only for Allah is all the Praise; Allah is The Greatest, Allah is The Greatest and The Great; and only for Allah is the praise in abundance, and Allah is the Exalted and Glorified, in the morning and evening. [Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith no. 971]
