The Proposal 😍❤️ As I said after dinner we were suppose to go straight back to the hotel but when we got on the bus our tour manager Nick told us he was going to take us on a de tour to see the Eiffel Tower by night because it was so pretty. I was so excited I couldnt wait to see it light up! (Little did I know everyone on both Contiki buses knew what was about to go down). We reached the Palais de Chaillot where you get the most amazing view of the Eiffel Tower. There were hundreds of people when we got there but Mahi found us a spot high up above everyone else with the perfect view. He took my hand and guided me up there. A couple of our group followed behind us to take photos and videos of the tower (or so I thought lol). As we stood there waiting for the tower to light up I was taking photos of the lights of the city it was so beautiful & then it happened... The tower lit up. Instantly Mahi grabbed me, he looked right into my eyes and started confessing his love. What was happening? Suddenly I forgot about the Eiffel Tower and the hundreds of people around us. As Mahi reached in to his pocket my heart started pounding and when he pulled out a small purple box and opened it to reveal the most gorgeous ring I instantly started balling. Tears of joy, was this really happening? A proposal in Paris?! He got down on one knee and said will you be mine forever?. Of course I said yes, as I put my finger out for the ring the hundreds of people that were there to see the tower started clapping and cheering. They were all taking photos and videos, everyones attention was all on us!! We hugged and kissed and said I love you a million times. I have never been so happy in my life & I couldnt stop crying! Our group ran over they were in tears! Our tour manager Nick ran over and gave us a big hug and kiss and a huge bottle of French Champagne. Everyone was moved by what had just happened. Im still in shock, I cant believe he pulled this off. I cant believe everyone knew for days except me! He created the perfect proposal, such a special moment. I will never forget it. So excited that we are engaged ❤️❤️❤️
