The Purge is a really messed up idea. To think that anybody in the United States is allowed to take someones life and ruin others. To think that the emotional scaring of someone else isnt an epidemic. And I think the worst part is the lack of remorse people have towards this subject. You take to your friends about the pure and I guarantee everyone would say they would kill and rape. Those seem to be the most popular crimes peoples want to committee. Why? Lets redefine the meaning of The Purge. You have 12 hours to be as evil and selfish as humanly possible. To ruin someone elses life, everyone connected and possibly your own if you have some ounce of compassion and selflessness left in you. Its sad and scary that people have no remorse an that the idea of materialism, jealousy, and consumerism is enough to destroy someone. Seriously, we need to change ourselves. We need to stop being cynical and sadistic and be compassionate, loving, and respectful. What the worst that could happen? If the world acted in such a beautiful way we wouldnt have nearly as many problems nor a need for a freaking purge! Im gonna try and find my compassion an love. Because I dont want to hit a state of mind where I dont fear the act of killing people.
