The Purported Stoning of the President: Story for the Marines The purported stoning of the presidential convoy at rally grounds in the north is ridiculous and lacked merit. It is a ploy by PDP to distract us further from the issues and sow more seeds of division. My reasons for dismissing the stories are; 1.Both Katsina and Bauchi states are PDP controlled states. 2.The security agencies in the states are embedded in the PDP. 3.Before a presidential visit to anywhere, DSS and other security agents are usually dispatched to ascertain the security position before his arrival. 4.The video of the stoning in katsina appears to be an arranged exercise because security agencies stood aloof while the Commander in Chiefs convoy was stoned. The President is the symbol of our nation and any attack on him must be condemned totally. However, with the presidential campaign team of PDP and Fani Kayode churning out lies after lies to distract Nigerians from the issues, the purported stoning could be an exercise to consolidate this distraction and attract sympathy to a doomed campaign. February 14th, 2015 date is irreversible. Nigerians must determine their next President with their thumbs on that day.
