The Push Up One of my favourite exercises to prescribe is the Push Up and this video clip is from my Strong Like MOMMY training protocols. Whether youre new to a regular exercise regimen or youre a highly conditioned athlete, the Push Up is extremely versatile in terms of accessibility (we can do it almost anywhere) and for whom can benefit from it (it can be prescribed to beginners all the way up to the best conditioned athlete). The Push Up focuses on our pectorals major (chest), anterior deltoids (shoulders), and our triceps (back of our arms) - all the elements for a stronger looking physique. If performed correctly this exercise also strengthens our core due to keeping our spine rigid throughout the movement. For beginners I recommend modified Push Ups on the knees until they can progress to traditional Push Ups. For advanced lifters, the Push Up can be altered to increase the degree of difficulty (e.g. decline, swiss ball, clapping, single legged, executed until exhaustion, etc.). If youre looking for an exercise to help shape your upper body and to also create the illusion of a tiny waist, dont forget to add the Push Up into your exercise regimen. #UnderArmourWomen #IWillWhatIWant #StrongLikeMommy
