The QUALITY of the calories you consume is AS or MORE important than the QUANTITY of the calories you consume. This means that eating 1800 calories of PROCESSED food is NOT the same as eating 1800 calories of healthy and nutritiously-dense food. Do you need an example? Which one of these foods do you think your body will benefit from more ...??? 160 calories of raw almonds? ... OR ... 160 calories of #Coca-Cola ? If you think you can keep eating your boxes of processed, LowFat, LowSodium, Full of Fiber, blah-blah-blah products that food companies keep putting on the shelves and expect that you will have the fit, lean body you always wanted, think again. Eating CLEAN foods -- foods that do not have anything added to them -- should be your NORMAL choices at least MOST of the time.
