The Quilter’s Forum is this years not-to-miss, new event at this year’s MQX Quilt Festival Show in Manchester, New Hampshire. Audience members will have the opportunity to ask a panel of quilting professionals and the show owners themselves any question you might want to ask. The Forums panel members are Lisa Hagstoz Calle Judy Woodworth Gina Parris-Perkes Laurie Tigner Andrea Brokenshire Topics we will be discussing are: Inspiration - Where to Find It and How to Use It Creating Award-winning Quilts - Designing, Construction and Quilting Showing in the Quilt Show Circuit - Selecting and Scheduling Shows, Selecting Categories, and Handling Feedback Becoming a Teacher - Where to Start, Selecting Topics, Formatting Classes and Getting Hired at National Shows In addition to the panel’s advice, Janet-Lee Santeusanio will give us some insight on the jurying and judging process for MQX and Mary Schilke with share how she goes about selecting the teaching staff.
