The RHU Management Society participated in the annual CSR forum organized by CSR- Lebanon at Phoenicia Hotel on December 8, 2014. CSR Lebanon invited ten RHU graduate and undergraduate business students in addition to two faculty members at the College of Business Administration. The forum was a full day engagement in which Lebanons Central Bank Governor, Dr. Riad Salameh, was honored for his achievements in promoting CSR initiatives amidst an audience of prominent figures in business and politics. Later, the forum hosted CSR professionals from foreign countries who shared their perspectives about the benefits and challenges of implementing CSR in their companies. Finally, the forum held a CSR Hyde Park where local businesses shared their experiences, ideas, challenges, and successes in 5-minute slots after which a prolonged Q&A session concluded the event. As usual, the CSR- Lebanon team was hospitable and the forum was an informative and valuable learning experience for the attendees. The society encourages business students to join the RHU Management Society in order to take advantage of such opportunities which extend their learning experience beyond the textbook and classroom.
