The Rainier Vista Technology Center at Neighborhood House would like to announce that our Comcast Digital Connectors program is currently accepting late applications until Dec. 5, 2013. About the program: The Comcast Digital Connectors program identifies talented young people, ages 14 to 21 from diverse backgrounds; immerses them in technology training; builds leadership skills; and prepares them to enter the 21st-century workplace. Participants have the option to earn a Cisco IT Essentials certificate of completion, and they will use the skills they learn to bridge the digital divide in their communities, performing volunteer service at community organizations. ***Successful Graduates receive a free netbook computer, a flip camera and an outstanding experience to put on their resume. The program is currently underway, but interested youth who missed the first deadline have a chance to join us. A required make-up session will be held on Saturday, December 7 (time to be determined). Who: Any youth ages 14-21 who can make the commitment to the full program and with an interest in professional development in IT Essentials.
