The Ralls County Historical Society will be closed at noon and all day Friday. We will be open from 1:00 pm till 5:00 pm on Saturday and from 10:00 am till 5:00 pm on Sunday. We will be helping at the New London Park Days all weekend and a volunteer will be working Saturday. We still need volunteers for the museum, operating the “Short Line” train depot and later at Jail. As soon as the sheriff can clear out a couple rooms we will cleaning, repairing and moving to the “Historic Ralls County Jail” we have had some already volunteer, but more can be used in all locations. It may be some time before we have whole jail because the sheriff is still using it for some storage. At first we will be using the jail as research room and as a small museum featuring the Ralls County Courthouse.
