The Rapid City Police Department is asking for the public’s help - TopicsExpress

The Rapid City Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify a male suspect who stole a woman’s purse at Walmart on LaCrosse on Nov. 13. The victim was shopping in the store and placed her purse in the cart. The suspect grabbed her purse when she wasn’t looking. Since then, police have received two additional reports of purse snatchings. One occurred at Safeway on Mountain View Road on Nov. 22, when a male suspect grabbed a purse off a shopper’s soldier. Another incident occurred yesterday at Walmart on Stumer Road, where the suspect grabbed a purse out of a shopping cart when the victim wasn’t looking. As the busiest shopping weekend of the year approaches, police are asking shoppers to be extra cautious and to secure their purses and wallets at all times. It’s usually safer to keep your purse on your shoulder, instead of in a cart. Keep an eye on your surroundings, and notify store employees if you see something suspicious. If you can help identify the suspect in the attached photos, please contact Detective Dan DeNeire at 394-4134. Anonymous tips can also be sent by texting ‘RCPD’ and the information to 847411.
