The Real Solution. The End Of Corrupt Electoral / Political Marl Practices in Nigeria. Anything can be accomplished with todays modern technology, we just have to employ some of it to our advantage. Here are my recommendations to the President, the National Assembly and to INEC.... In fact INEC should be the only entity, the supreme power that can positively change Nigeria as we speak, i.e. if they are serious and if they know exactly what they are doing?? INEC should be armed with the only autonomous powers to Set & Define The Strict Rules of the political arena in Nigeria. They should write all the policies and criterias involved. I mean the Political Bible of the Nigerian politics and every candidate must totally and completely comply by those rules to a (T). No one or no political party is exceptional to The Rules. If any candidate should defect on any part of The Rules, then automatic disqualification and indefinite suspension. Therefore any form of violence should not come into play at any given point in time, while a candidate is campaigning...Unlike what we experienced in Akwa Ibom in 2011. Supporters of a particular candidate should also be aware of the seriousness and the sensitivity of the new rules. They should be careful not to impair the credibility of their candidate. Using any forms of violence, intimidation, or bribery to put their candidate in office should mean automatic or instant disqualification, Persecution and or Immediate EXECUTION of such a candidate may follow as a consequence. No one is above these rules and there should be Zero Tolerance to the brake of the rules. First of all, INEC should be responsible for building all the election polling stations all across the country, in every state, in every local government areas, in every town where people should go to vote. No voting should be conducted elsewhere other than the INEC official polling stations throughout the whole country... In addition to this, INEC should then fully equip all their remote facilities with Internet Capabilities and Constant Electric Power Supplies. No matter what, these two things Must Be Constant at all remote sites for live surveillance. With these two things INEC can remotely access and monitor the conducts of election in every part of the country from their main Headquarters Live & Direct. Anytime elections are being conducted all activities viewed live in Real-Time. INEC should be able to simultaneously monitor and Digitally RECORD all events or activities at each polling station in any part of the country at any given time using this very simple Solution. Todays technology offers these very simple solutions 100% absolutely very possible with very limited resources needed..... With this, there is no excuse for anyone rigging of elections. Also sustainability is also a great advantage to this simple solution......... The cost of adopting and adhering to this strategy is far less than the cost of not doing it at all. INEC should use the forth coming 2015 elections to set the stage for the future changes that we desperately need in Nigeria.... Its about time we did something that makes real sense for once.
