The Real (TRANSFORMATION) Institutional Change Agenda by President - TopicsExpress

The Real (TRANSFORMATION) Institutional Change Agenda by President Jonathan vs The Cosmetic/Pocket Change by Asiwaju Tinubu/Gen. Buhari - by - Ike Chidolue APC is a dichotomy of errors, a comedy of propaganda, a mixture of what appears original, good and outright lies. The part that appears original is not good, and the part that appears good is not original and then again, you have to deal with their very many lies. Take their mantra of CHANGE for instance, it is not an original idea, as they copied President Goodluck Jonanthans mantra; Transformation Agenda. Another word for transformation is change, and we all know that beyond criminal enterprise and a criminal mindset, the proponents of APC are incapable of original ideas, so they decided to go for the word change, because they like the word transformation. However, when an APC chieftain echos the words of their mantra CHANGE! To the unsuspecting, you might be misled into thinking that they are speaking about institutional changes, no way, Jose! Change to an APC chieftain is the type of change in Asiwaju Tinubus pocket. APC speaks of POCKET CHANGE whenever they chant the words change! They are a greedy desparate bunch of flip-floppers, and they want change for their pockets, just like Aiswajus companies, I believe the Alpha-Beta keeps back about 48% of whatever internally genereated revenues (IGR) of Lagos state. Change for our pocket, not infrastructural changes. The changes which Mr, President articulated is a real institutional changes, which has been touching lives and transforming the nation. 1 - A change that strenuously upholds the dignity of the accused yet diligently prosecutes the accused to a logical legal conclusion vs A change that railroaded the heros of Nigerians democracy, like Lateef Jakande, Chief Sam Mbakwe, Alh. Abubakar Rimi, Pa Adekunle Ajasin, Tai Solarin, & numerous others, to 100s of years of jail term without legal representation. 2 - A change that allows Gen. Buhari liberty to criticize a sitting president without let or hindrance vs A change that will retrospectively shoot any dissenting opinions with retroactive laws. 3 - A change that plans for leadership, by lucidly articulating its agenda vs A change that outsources its core support team to subordinate interests. 4 - A change that civily engages the collective, to evolve a new paradigm vs A change that uses fanaticism and Janjaweed ideologies as its primary engine room. 5 - A change that sustains the empowering of the next generation vs A change that throws us into the painfully bitter past of yesteryear. 6 - A change that meticulously consolidates the gains of healing the nation vs A change that reopens old wounds. It is most sad, that the cherished memories of Lateef Jakande is being desecrated by canonizing the architect of truncating his dreams of a great Lagos. This is more painful when the person behind this desecration is supposedly a Lagosian. Has Gen. Buhari ever sort for rapprochement from the people he wrongly jailed; Tai Solarin, Lateef Jakande, Chief Alex Ekueme, Prof Ambrose Ali, Pa Ajasin, Abubakar Rimi, Umaru Diko, Melford Okilo. He remains defiant in his wrong choices. Gen Buhari is reputated for his rigidity, and such rigid postures have no place in a civilized democratic environment. As a kid, my fathers words was the law, I couldnt challenge him, but now, things are different. I have to reason with my kids to have my way. The paradigm have shifted! Given that over 30 million Nigerian voters fall into into the age that never saw Gen. Buhari, his connection with this new generation is totally absent. This is the generation that praises a charismatic leader not a rigid task master. Conclusively, Gen, Buhari has shown that his words are not steadfast, having repudiated his promise not to run again. Finally, our change is a change that has touched the lives of so many lives, transforming the nation, vs a change that has left so much monies in the pockets of Tinubu, El Rufai, Osinbajo, Amechi Timi Silva and the rest of the Bourdillon cronies. I want change, but not pocket change!
