The Reality of our Triumph in Christ The reality of our triumph - TopicsExpress

The Reality of our Triumph in Christ The reality of our triumph or victory in Christ is not a mere idea, doctrine, or philosophy that we are trying to understand and grasp. It is an accomplished reality for all of us who are sincere believers in Christ. The time has come for us who believe in Christ to rise up into the awareness of this fundamental truth. The reality of our triumph in Christ does not depend on us understanding or grasping it. It became an accomplished fact and truth through Christ. God in Christ has done all that is necessary to provide and make real our triumph in Christ. God manifested Himself in Christ to take away sin and our sinful nature, to destroy the works of the devil, to destroy the devil, principalities, and powers, and to provide full salvation for humanity. He accomplished all of these things through His death and resurrection and now reigns supreme over all rule and authority. In saving us, He baptized into Himself in Christ. This baptism means not only being immersed into water but being actually immersed into Christ. Therefore, our salvation involves our union with Christ, being in Christ and Christ in us, participating in the Divine nature, life, and righteousness of God. Hence, the reality of our unchangeable triumph or victory in Christ is solidly based on our thorough union with God in Christ who now reigns triumphant. That is the essence of the Christian faith. Therefore, today, if you will hear the voice of God in the declaration of this truth, let everything that appears in your life to the contrary, every apparent defeat, every opposition, every accusation of men and devils, every sense of guilt, every criticism of those who despise you, and every trial and warfare that confronts you give place to and work together to confirm the indisputable truth that as Christ now forever reigns triumphant, so you being in Christ are in all reality always living in triumph. 1 Corinthians 15:57: But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 2:14: Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.
