The Rebellion Is Growing! Over the last few days... The Rebelfit fan page has been flooded with people... Joining the debate on DIETING versus NUTRITION. Many people have arrived at the page... And shared their support for slimming clubs... Happy with the results theyre seeing RIGHT NOW... Achieved eating mugshots, ready meals and sugary bars. But many others have joined the discussion... And shared stories of weight loss... BINGING and regain... Getting fatter and fatter, with every diet they tried. Each story proving that the rebellion.... Isnt just happening HERE, on this page. It is happening all over the world. A lady called Sue has commented on this page... And summarised it perfectly. She has never done a Rebelfit mission... But clearly GETS IT... and is now REBELLING. Her words need be shared... There is a revolution happening.... slowly, but surely.... and the world is slowly waking up to the fact that the previously held belief that FAT is whats causing the problem IS WRONG. Its about sugar and the wrong sort of carbs, and the nasty, nasty chemicals in processed food. I shudder at the thought of the artificial sweeteners Ive consumed as a result of following previous diets. Chemical rubbish. Diets that revolve around weighing, counting, abstaining, are bloody hard work - and psychologically challenging. Dont think about a pink elephant. What are you now thinking??? Ban a food/food group, and it immediately becomes more desirable. By changing the way you think about food - and having NO forbidden foods whatsoever, but CHOOSING to eat less processed foods, less sugar, takes the pressure off.... and WHEN (not IF) you fall off the wagon, theres no feeling of failure... it just postpones/slows the weight loss (if thats what youre aiming for). If youre following a DIET, and have a bad day, you feel like a failure. If youre following a DIET and put a little bit of weight on, you feel like a failure. This sets up a downward spiral... How many times have I thought in the past but why have I put weight on when Ive been GOOD all week????? I have learned that my weight fluctuates naturally, and not always directly in response to what I eat - there are many other factors - hormones/digestive processes etc - which affect the way my body works. I wish I could stop weighing myself (I do it less frequently than once a month, but still feel that I have to check in to see how Im doing) - but again, previous diet brain-washing tells me thats what I need to do... Ive done all sorts of diets in the past - yes, had successes in that Ive lost weight, but ALWAYS, WITHOUT FAIL, the weight has gone back on again because its not sustainable as far as Im concerned. There may be a few paragons out there who can maintain it (being a group leader must be a great incentive to keep the weight off), but - lets face it - if these big diet companies were successful, and their members lost weight and the weight stayed off, theyd do themselves out of business, wouldnt they. Sorry for ranting on, but its getting frustrating at how slowly the rest of the world is changing now that we know what makes you fat......!!!!!!!!!! How long until the rest of Britain gets this? Keep tuning in this page, and lets see. Liam rebelfit.co.uk
