The Republicans have no interests in creating jobs, infrastructure or anything else other than political turmoil. For them, it is not about gaining to power to improve the country, it is about gaining power to stop someone else from improving the country, because the preservation of the status quo is the key, where the same people that win keep on winning and the same people that get the shaft keep getting the shaft. Then theyll turn around tell people to quote, unquote pull themselves up by their bootstraps, but before that can happen the Republicans will repeal the bootstraps! Everyday on Fox News, conservatives sit around and complain about how President Obama has failed to increase overall wages, wages of the poor and the Blacks in particular, but then they (conservatives) will consistently oppose raising the minimum wage -- saying that certain segments deemed unworthy dont deserve it. See, they just cut someones bootstraps again -- lousy suckers! The worst one Ive ever heard was when this conservative plow boy argued his point to me that McDonalds could not afford to pay people more, because it would put them out of business. I guess he hasnt seen the portfolio of Mickey Ds lately.
