The Retrievers have been asked to coordinate the search for Jackson, an 8-year-old Italian Greyhound who bolted from the residence where he was being boarded in Rochester, MN while his family was away on vacation. There have been several sightings within about a mile of his point of flight. Some flyering efforts have been made and several Good Samaritans in the area have put out feeding stations. The family purchased three live traps and have deployed them as well. As Jacksons case manager, I have advised the family to rapidly broaden awareness of the search through the use of intersection signs and robocalls. With more sightings, we hope to pinpoint Jacksons location and get a feeding station in front of him as quickly as possible, so we can deploy one of the Retrievers traps and a trail camera. More updates to come.
