The Return of The Friar Album of The Day: Astral Doors: Notes From The Shadows. The guys in AD return with a killer *metal* album. Dark in tone, but bright in arrangements, the Hammond stands heads above previous work. Great production values make this cleanly recorded piece of work just sparkle with killer riffs and grounded rhythm. I could write forever on this one, but the hype is better left unsaid as the Music really does do the talking. Recommended: Die Alone (and the whole album end to end). Metalville (c)2014. MV0047
