The Riptides have a new album! Their first actually, the band having only ever released singles and a mini-album back in the day. Tombs Of Gold was recorded in 1982 but mixed only this year and includes Only Time, Holiday Time, Riptide, live favourite Shake-It plus previously unreleased tracks Magic Moments, Everything For Sale and a 1981 take on the 1978 classic 77 Sunset Strip - yowzer! And there are both vinyl and CD versions with even more bonus tracks. Riptides main-man Mark Callaghan will be doing a launch / instore at Redeye Records this Friday 21st @ 4.30pm and you can purchase the album there or online from theriptides.au.
