The Road Accident Fund’s mission is to provide appropriate cover to all road users within the borders of South Africa; to rehabilitate and compensate persons injured as a result of motor vehicle accidents in a timely and caring manner; and to actively promote safe use of our roads The Organization requires the services of qualified individuals within its Head Office for the following position:- THIS IS AN INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL ADVERTISEMENT PA TO SENIOR MANAGER: OD: T. 9, R210 344.00 ref: 09012014PA Centurion Closing Date: 1/22/2014 12:00 AM Page Content Purpose of the Job: Reporting to the Senior Manager: Organisational Development, the successful incumbent’s responsibility will be to ensure a consistent, compliant and effective system of risk management and strategy. Key Performance Areas · Copy typing or Dicta typing all letters, memoranda, minutes, reports and presentations as required, including on Excel spreadsheet and PowerPoint. · Answering, screening, transferring and making of telephone calls on behalf of senior manager. · Assist senior manager in organising his/her time effectively including keeping his/her diary. · Maintaining manual and electronic databases. · Compiling statistical reports and charts electronically. · Arranging, coordinating and providing support to meetings, including taking minutes professionally and attending to follow-ups actions. · Assist in typing reports for the department. · Prepare draft responses for the manager on matters · Make follow up on outstanding matters on behalf of the manager · Inventory management · Prepare travel itinerary and make travel arrangements. · Maintain records and filing system of all HC OD documents · Monitor and ensure compliance and submission of all reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual) etc. · General Office administration including departmental leave records and compliance · Maintain Departmental Procurement Protocol (PR and PO) · Maintain and follow-up on departmental invoices and payments Qualifications and Experience § Minimum Grade 12 (Matric) § Secretarial diploma or similar qualification in Office Administration will be an added advantage. § Excellent computer skills, including without limitation, proficiency on SAP (ECC system) § At least 3/4 years working experience as a secretary/ PA is a prerequisite. Technical and behavioral competencies required § Good organizational skills. § Good communication skills. § Accuracy must be above average. § Good interpersonal skills. § Confidentiality and trustworthiness is very important. § Above average writing skills.
