The Roane shelter has had several litters of puppies up for adoption for quite some time now. If you are interested in adopting please let us know. We are full and are contacting rescues to pull dogs. We have had several people ask why we and dogs to rescue and not let the local public adopt first.. We always post our adoptable animals and give everyone time and a chance to step up in interested. . We have had a litter of 9 pups for several weeks now and no interest. We now have two more litters of pups that have been posted. We have now have rescue interest. If you are thinking of adopting now its the chance. We may or may not have some of them still available for adoption come this week Just depends on how many or if any the rescues can pull. The Shelter re-opens Tuesday at 10.am. Please private message if interested in a pup.
