The Rochester Public Library District is seeking a part-time professional Youth Services Assistant to work closely with the Youth Services Director. Shifts include days, nights and Saturdays. Required Skills or Experience: • Excellent customer service skills • Ability to plan and promote programs for children and teens • Must be comfortable working with children and teens individually and in groups • Excellent computer skills to adequately utilize the online catalog and the automated circulation systems, the internet as well as word processing and other relevant applications • Ability to work with numbers accurately and understand verbal and written instructions • Excellent verbal, written and non-verbal communication skills, including the ability to give coherent directions To apply, send cover letter and resume via email to: [email protected]
