The Rosemary Bush Hedge between my neighbour Jo and me..Pics taken in 2008, 2009 & 2013. It used to be quite nice, but it became overgrown, some parts had died completely & it had encroached on about 1 metre on each side...reducing our driveway space quite drastically. Being Rosemary, it was also very tough and the branches were scratching our cars as we drove in. At the end of our street, there is a Primary School & I could not see over the hedge, to know if children might be passing when I was reversing out of the driveway....which was always of major concern. The perfume from the bushes was very nice, but there were a lot of bees hanging around all the time. Much as I did love them....Im very glad to report that these Rosemary Bushes have now been completely removed...see Pic #4. Now to give some serious thought about what we should plant in their place. Note to self: Buy a small Rosemary potted plant, for when the herbs are required for cooking!
