The Rosewood High ARTS Alumni Reception and Talent Show was last Thursday and I was so honored to be a part of the wonderful showcase and celebration. It felt wonderful to be reunited with some old friends, and see the amount of growth that my high school has undergone in the years Ive been away. I was blown away by the amount of talent shown by Rosewood Elementarys chorus, middle school performers, Rosewood High Show choir students (current and former), and even some parents of our Rosewood students! I was also given the very first Rosewood Distinguished Arts Alumni Award! To the arts faculty at Rosewood Elementary, Middle, and High Schools, thank you. Thank you for continuing your work to inspire students to explore and express their creative talents. Lisa West, I will always owe you my sincere thanks for being one of the most influential and inspirational women in my life. Thank you for giving me direction and guidance to help me pursue my passion. Above all else, thank you for believing in me. Thank you Scott Ely for the fantastic sound! The show couldnt have happened without you. To all of my Rosewood family and friends, I love you so much. Thank you for welcoming me home with open arms and for making me feel so special. To top it all off, I received a lot of compliments on this gold dress that came from Cousin Couture!
