The Rotary Clubs in Malta have today launched a scholarship for post-graduate studies which is worth US$30,000. This scholarship is available for study in one of Rotary Foundations areas of focus, namely Peace and conflict prevention/ resolution, Disease prevention and treatment, Water and other sanitation, Maternal and child health, Literacy and basic education, and Economic and community development. We believe that this scholarship is one of the most generous scholarships available in Malta. The Rotary Foundation is the world largest private donor of scholarships with 800 scholarships granted worldwide annually. Rotary, active in Malta for 47 years, is a service club which enables members to provide services to the community and has supported many organisations such as Dar il-Kaptan, the Ghabex Centre, Caritas, etc. as well as having an excellent track record of some leading Rotary scholars whose studies have been financed, at least in part, by the Rotary Foundation
