The Roy McKay Clubhouse at Labatt Park was built immediately - TopicsExpress

The Roy McKay Clubhouse at Labatt Park was built immediately following the late-April Flood of 1937. Originally, it was used by both the home and visiting teams, as well as the umpires (separate entrances and rooms). Public washrooms were at the south end. It was also used as a change room to put your skates on during winter skating at Labatt Park during the 1940s. Circa 1978, after Arden Eddie took over the London Majors, the building was used exclusively by the London Majors Baseball Club. The building was designated under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act in 1994. Google Roy McKay for information about former London Majors mascot-batboy, pitcher and manager Roy McKay (1933-1995).
