The Run for the Wall only stayed at the Loves for an hour or so. Most of the Chaplains corps are HonorBound Motorcycle Ministry members and National Chaplains and friends from other Motorcycle Groups, all trying to reach bikers for Christ. We were able to handout over one hundred Survival Kits, cross pins and many dog tags and bandanas with Psalms 91 printed on them. (Whoever dwells in the shadow of the Most High will rest in the shelter of The Almighty.) It is quite a sight to see hundreds of bikers lined up in formation, headed on their last leg of a 10 day trip across the United States! Many riding for their first time to honor friends or family lost, support for others or finally completing their mission at The Vietnam Wall. After a bite to eat, we headed over to Front Royal, Virginia to stay a few days with our friends, Pastor Rick and Beverly Kerfoot. We left Saturday morning, heading over to Washington DC. Once we weaved our way through all the traffic, we parked among thousands of Motorcycles parked in several grassy fields. We meet up with Chris and Donna Moomaw, JT Turner, Frank, Ken and Stewart, Bro. Lee and others. We greeted all the veterans filing by, Korean War, World War II, Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraqi. We shook as many hands as we could and handed out cross pins and dog tags. Thanking them for their service to our Country and saying Welcome Home! All of us rode over to Arlington Assembly of God so we could regroup and ride over to Chapel Springs Church, Bristow, VA. An historical event took place for HonorBound East Coast Region. Keith along with two other National HonorBound Motorcycle Ministry Chaplains commissioned two HBMM members as District Leadership, Chris Moomaw and Jonathan Wyns. We are so excited about how God is moving and blessing HonorBound! We split up and rode back over to Front Royal for the night.
