The Russian Film Festival, New Delhi-2014 organized by the Russian Centre of Science and Culture (RCSC) jointly with the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Embassy of the Russia in India and the “NOY” Film Company, was opened at the RCSC in New Delhi on October 16, 2014. Mr. S.M. Khan, Registrar of Newspapers for India was the Chief Guest on the occasion. The Guests of Honour were: Mr. Sergei Karmalito - Senior Counsellor of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in India, Mr. Dalbir Singh - Secretary of All-India Congress Committee, Mr. Grigory Gevorkyan – Deputy General Director of the Cinema concern «Mosfilm» and three Russian actresses – Mrs. Ekaterina Malikova, Mrs. Anna Banschikova and Mrs. Iullia Nazarenko. The film festival, held within the framework of the “Year of Culture in Russia-2014”, will continue till October 22, 2014.
