The SAD Fact that DICK SMITH Foods will no longer be available, due to NON-support by Australian Consumers is a sign that Australian manufacturing is TOO Expensive..Its not that people do NOT want to support Australian products, its just that THEY are too expensive and lets face IT,,in todays world a Dollar does NOT go far..Prices are too high and wages never seem to keep up with Food costs and Other Household costs...SOMEONE>>perhaps in Govt.// said that when the Carbon tax was gone, that Power prices would come down..Well my latest Electricity Bill did NOT reflect that,,and anyways EVER seen a price come down PURPOSEFULLY due to a Govt. decision??...Theres NOT much left now on Australian production........Vegemite is gone, Arnotts biscuits has left the shore...Ford and Toyota are going and the Australian Holden car is to be No longer..even that traditonal Airline Quantas is now 49 per cent Foreign owned..The Computer I am typing THIS on came from South Korea,,and my Blood Pressure Pills are made in India..Australia has NOT gone to the dogs..Its just absorbed into the World...My sister bought a piece of land in Townsville yesterday as an Investment>>nothing wrong with that EXCEPT that the Land development company she bought IT from was owned by a CHINA business.,,..AS I said>>THATS LIFE.
