The SASCO DUT-DBN Branch unleashes its greetings to its members and DUT populace. A lot has been said on our behalf we think its our responsibility to say that in as much as we are aware of challenges of students in the knowledge production sector emanating themselves from the imposition of the NSFAS new system. We have been clear on the challenges of students to the extent that we even embarked on various struggles demanding the removal of the imposed new system since its not of assistant to students of DUT in particular and South Africa in general. We are against the opportunism presented by the group called PYA within the institution. We cannot allow a situation whereby this group opportunistically use the frustrations of students in favour of its petty unknown ends. We once had a march to department of education this group came as spectators hoping that the march of SASCO does not materialise, unfortunately we soldiered on and delivered our memorandum of demands. Students are warned against day light robbery and deception from these people. SASCO did not have any mass action today. We take this as serious obsession it now happening for the second time ,last year this group did the very same thing. We are for the last time now urging these people to bring the organisational material(Banner)they forcefully took from members of SASCO last week Thursday at Steve Biko.
