The SCOTUS DOMA decision has an immediately positive effect on LGBT bi-national married couples. Before today, the Federal Government did not recognize these marriages and non-American partners could be (and sadly, many were) deported. That is happily NO LONGER THE CASE. So much pain and hurt has been inflicted by such draconian and un-Christian laws in my view. Let the healing and re-unification begin in earnest.
