The SCSO continues to investigate the hoax bomb threat to Seminole County elementary schools that occurred Friday afternoon. The SCSO has received several leads in the investigation and continues to ask the public for assistance. The 911 call is now being released to attempt to generate information about the identity of the caller. The call was received at approximately 1:30 p.m., Friday. The caller appears to be a male who indicates that he placed a bomb at Casselberry, Winter Springs, and Oviedo (which does not exist) elementary schools. He then tells the dispatcher that he will call back, however he never did. No suspicious devices were found on any campuses when law enforcement officers searched them. SCSO has been joined by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement in the investigation. Additionally, up to $10,000 in reward money is now available for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the caller.
