The SECOND COLLECTION that is being taken up at all of the Masses this weekend is for MONTHLY PARISH MAINTENANCE. The proceeds from this collection are used to help defray some of the larger expenses that we incur in providing pastoral services. Recently, we have experienced water damage to the Rectory, school, and Church from the rains which are not covered from insurance and which need to be addressed. This expense was unanticipated and we use this special collection to aid us in meeting this financial obligation. I know how difficult the current economic situation is for many but I would ask that those who are able to be as generous as possible. You can imagine in a facility as old as ours there are many unexpected expenses. I would appreciate whatever assistance you can provide in this Second Collection and I thank you in advance for your customary support and generosity. - Fr. Kiely
