The SM&NC Farm Market is back – now on Sundays starting June 15! The Farm Market will be located conveniently on the Meadow. New and additional vendors will offer a wider variety of fresh, local items. The Market will also feature a different food truck each week to enjoy lunch at a picnic table by the Bendel Pond. Products from SM&NC’s very own Heckscher Farm will be available for sale -- farm fresh eggs, maple syrup and yarn. Each Sunday, hands-on activities for families, children’s crafts, and animal demonstrations will be led by an environmental educator during the Farm Market hours. Admission to the SM&NC Sunday Market ONLY is FREE. Activities for families are free with gate admission. Visit these local farmers and producers at the SM&NC Sunday Farm Market: • Aradia Farm (organic beef, pork, eggs) *first Sunday of the month only • Carrot Top Kitchens (pickles, hummus, jam, jellies) • Conant Valley Jam (jam) • Connecticut Gourmet (artisanal bread) • Goatboy Soaps (goat milk soap) • The Nutty Cake Baker (gourmet nut cakes and fruit cakes) • Moorefield Herb Farm (fresh herbs and plants) • Pepe’s Cream of the Crop (clams and chowder) • Smith Acres (fresh seasonal produce) • Woodland Farm (fresh fruits and berries, cider) . . . And eggs, wool, maple syrup from SM&NC’s Heckscher Farm.
