The SONA event in Congress has indeed already metamorphosed into something ridiculous in the eyes of the public. Congressmen and Senators, men and women alike, has made the affair a tableau for self-aggrandizement, a fashion runway for the ambitious, the rich, the autocrats, the powerful and the political pretenders. Yes of course the personalities the people elected must experience the opportunity, but sadly, they have grown to become addicted to shame and extravagance rather than on austere-elegance and simplicity.
