The SOSBI team sent to Athens County to investigate recent sightings had returned in one piece but worn out! After hiking back in a seldom used trail in the Wayne National Forrest for what seemed like...maybe three days ....we came to a small shallow pond that our guide for the day Harry had not one but two sightings nearby this summer. After setting up a base camp of chairs in the woods we tried our luck with tree knocks every few minutes with hopes of a response back which never came. After 30 mins or so Harry and Shawna decided to hike deeper on into the woods to look for any evidence of bigfoot having been close by. Jeff and yours truly elected to stay back in base camp and guard the folding chairs!!! It would be awful to lose them!!! Anyway after some time had passed we began to hear thunder indicating a storm was approaching. Our two missing members returned and we packed up and headed back to the vehicles which only took about 20 minutes of brisk walking this time! Only minutes after reaching the cars we were met with a downpour which continued on and off half of the way home. Shawna took some pics with my phone which I will post very soon.
