The Saga of Suzanne...latest trip to ER was for dislocated right shoulder! Hurt like batshit crazy, until finally reset...or relocated? In a sling now...very annoying as am right handed. Just thankful that Liz and the boys were still here (in the car) on their way home when it happened, and could stay an extra day to help. Liz is so logical and the best kind of daughter to have these past months that have been filled with car accidents, pneumonia resulting in hospital stay, rigors, new meds, bleeding hiatal hernia...etc, etc...She has come down and made sure I have been following doctors orders to slow sown, filled my frig and cupboards with lots of nutrious food, and just helped in so many ways. Ironically, before we headed to Meijer Gardens yesterday, she drove to the health club I will be joining, and made sure I went in for info!!! Guess that will have to wait for a few weeks now while I heal from latest accident which was caused by running to unlock front door, and tripping over blown back doormat (it was blowing hard with sleet and rain) and of course, I tripped on it and fell very hard and knew my shoulder was badly injured right away...the Pain was unbearable. I dont know how they got me back into the car...and of course the ride to ER was nothing but potholes. My dear late father always said I learned to run before I ever walked...and almost every accident has always resulting from running into something or up steps. My new mantra is the title of an old 50s single I have titled,Walk, Dont Run, and think I need to have the words ptinted on my hands so I can see them every day. What an awful winter...and it is still rotten today. Such is life. Coulda been worse. Shabbat Shalom!!!
